Dan Marsh is currently an Executive Business Manager within the Transformation division at Lloyds Banking Group. After leaving school with top results, Dan went on to college with the aim of going to University. He then had his Eureka! moment, and realised University wasn't perhaps the right option for him.
In a bid to find his passion, Dan moved into the world of work, first working part-time at an Apple store, where he discovered his passion for solving complex problems and technology, and realised he enjoyed the face-to-face interactions with people. His pursuit for bigger challenges, led him to Lloyds Banking Group, as a Project Management Higher Apprentice. He was then aged 17, one of the youngest ever recruits onto the programme.
Since then, Dan has been invited to the House of Commons, being recognised as one of the UK’s most successful apprentices. He was also the keynote speaker and host of London regional National Apprenticeship awards in 2018.
Dan sets himself at least one big challenge per year. He has successfully completed a 14,000ft Sky Dive in Australia, The Brentwood Nuclear Races and the Three Peaks Mountain Challenge in 24hours, whilst raising over £10,000 for various charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Children In Need and Mental Health.
